The Coral Springs Police Explorers meet usually once a week on Wednesdays from 5:30pm till 7:30pm. During these weekly meetings, the police explorers are introduced to law enforcement.

Some of the topics that are covered in the weekly meetings are domestic violence, general law, traffic, DUI, report writing, community relations, firearms training, and much more.

The coral springs police explorers have an award winning color guard that performs at community events, and a pistol team that competes in police explorer competitions.

The Coral Springs Police Explorers send their new police explorers to the Annual Broward County Police Explorer Academy at the Criminal Justice Institute, during the summer months.

The Coral Springs Police Explorers are committed to serving the community and volunteer numerous hours of their time to community events and to The Coral Springs Police Department. Examples of events are open houses at schools and DUI check points.

The Coral Springs Police Explorers belong to The Florida Associaiton of Police Explorers, and attend quarterly meetings through out the State of Florida, and compete at The Annual State competitions as well as The Broward County Competitions.

The Coral Springs Police Explorers is an ongoing program that is active all year long.
